We all know that sleep is fundamental to health. But fundamental to sleep is getting comfortable in bed and sometimes that’s not easy. Thankfully, we’ve got a solution.
Our 4-axis, 5-part adjustable bed mechanism lets you choose the best position for your head, neck, back, hips and legs to find the position where you feel most comfortable. Maybe you want to sit up and read, or elevate your legs to help with circulation, or sleep with your head slightly raised to help your breathing. An adjustable bed lets you do all these so you can get your full eight hours. Finally.

1. RiseUp adjustable bed mechanisms
All our adjustable beds are custom made in our UK workshop and come in a range of sizes and weight configurations. Once you’ve chosen your bed type and size, you then have a choice of style, mattress, and other options to make your bed your own.
Single Mechanism
A 4 axis, 5-part action electric adjustable bed for one person. Available in widths from 2’7” to 4’ wide and up to 6’10” in length with a single mechanism for maximum comfort and support.
Dual Mechanism
The dual mechanism bed is a double bed, where each side can be adjusted independently of the other to give both of you the best night’s sleep. For 2 people, available in widths from 4’6” up to 6’, and 6’10” in length
Hi-Lo Lifter
The Hi-Lo lifter mechanism adds a height adjustment to the 4 axis, 5 part adjustable mechanism to your bed. Vertical lifting to a height of 38” makes it easier for a carer to help with turning or helping in any other way. When you need to get in or out, you can easily lower the bed to a standard resting height of 24”. The Hi-Lo lifter is available for 3’ and 4’ wide single bed sizes.

The Edinburgh is available with four headboard designs, all padded and available in your choice of fabric.

The Oban is available with four headboard designs, all padded and available in your choice of fabric, with or without divan drawers
Lomond Adjustable Bed
With integrated headboard. Available with or without divan drawers
Skye Adjustable Bed
With integrated headboard. Available with or without divan drawers

3. Pick your perfect mattress
Your mattress is essential to your comfort – you need one with just enough firmness to give you the support you need, but not too hard so it’s uncomfortable. We offer three mattress options, and each one can be further tailored with a soft, medium or hard construction. We recommend spending a lot of time discussing your mattress with your RiseUp consultant to make sure you get the best one.
All mattresses have a Coolmax® cover, designed to keep you cool and will absorb extra moisture to help you stay cool and comfortable while you sleep. The cover is removable and can be dry cleaned and the cover is anti-dust mite and hypo allergenic.
Reflex Foam Mattress
This mattress is made from medium firm high-density polyurethane to support your body. The specific foam specification is chosen to suit your weight, and the structure of the foam adjusts to the shape of your body, while still retaining some firmness for support.
Reflexion Memory Foam Mattress
The memory foam mattress has a layer of memory foam between the reflex foam core and the outer Coolmax® cover. This layer moulds to your body while you sleep to provide support and pressure relief, helping to maintain the right posture.
Latex Mattress
The latex mattress has a latex layer between the reflex foam core and the outer Coolmax® cover. It moulds to your body in the same way as the memory foam but has the added benefit of excellent air circulation thanks to the air pockets within the structure – a good choice if you feel hot at night.

Optimal temperature regulation
The Coolmax® layer draws away heat from the body. It’s filled with polyester to absorb excess moisture whilst keeping you cool, meaning you can rest easy.
Reflex
Supportive firmness
Reflex foam provides a vital supportive firmness at the mattress base and is often used for orthopaedic mattresses. Reflex foam is made up of tiny holes that slightly adapt to your body shape, but bounce back against you at the same time.
Reflexion
Maximum comfort
The memory foam layer within the mattress structure conforms to your body shape for full support and pressure relief. It enables the correct posture to be maintained during sleep.
Latex
Cool and hypoallergenic
The Latex layer conforms to your body shape for full support, pressure relief and correct posture during sleep. Latex has natural air pockets within its structure, which helps you to stay cooler. Latex is one of the most eco-friendly mattress fillings available.
4. Pick your fabric from our huge range
With the mechanism, style and mattress sorted, now’s your chance to really go to town with the upholstery.
You can choose from thousands of different fabrics, including washable, waterproof and leather, with each type of fabric available in a huge range of colours and patterns. From Consultation to Delivery – What to Expect

Free Home Demonstration
A RiseUp Furniture Consultant will bring a sample chair or bed to your home for you to try out.
You can explain what you need and they’ll take your measurements for your made to measure furniture. You will also be able to browse through a complete catalogue of styles and fabrics, so you can choose something that’s perfect for you.
02.
Bespoke Manufacture
Your bespoke item is promptly hand-made for you by proper crafts-people at our British workshop, then rigorously checked and tested to to BSI standards.
We’ll keep you up to date right through the process so you know how things are going.
Then it’s lovingly packed and ready for step three – speedy delivery.
03.
Delivery and Installation
Your furniture will be delivered within 2-3 weeks. We’ll install it exactly where you want it and remove your old chair, sofa or bed. Your furniture consultant will be there at delivery to make sure it fits you as it’s designed to, show you how to use it, and make sure you’re 100% happy with it. Your furniture consultant will be in touch after a week or so to check that you’re happy with your new furniture and answer any questions you might have.
