Comfort
A rise & recline chair that’s made for your body type, weight and size is a dream to sit in. We use the best upholstery that’s soft against the skin, helping to reduce irritation. The fabric also has a higher than typical rub count, so it won’t wear through quickly – even if you sit in your chair for 12 hours per day, every day. Not everyone needs the same level of assistance, so we’ve designed a range of chairs for different situations, to ensure you get what you really need and aren’t paying for features that you won’t use. Quad Motor Riser Recliner Chair
High leg lift with independent movement in legs, neck, lumbar and back to get as comfortable as possible.

*The dual motor mechanism allows you to recline fully in a non-flat supportive position so is excellent for sleeping even though it doesn’t ‘technically’ lie flat.
How much do our Rise and Recline chairs cost?
Naturally you want to know the price, so here is an explanation. We have heaps of options, and our chairs are tailor-made, so it is very rare that two are sold for the same price. Having said that, over the past 12 months, the cheapest Rise and Recline chair we have sold was £1,325 and the most expensive was £5,250, with the average selling for £3,325. Things that affect the price include: The weight of the user; the materials chosen; the number of motors; the heating element; and the massage function.
You might see something online that looks similar at a fraction of that cost, but it will also only be a fraction as good and last a fraction as long. If you’re in any doubt at all, just call us – we’re happy to explain the difference. We can work with you to find the best furniture to fit your budget, and you can spread the cost with our finance plans.

Styles to make your chair more ‘you’
With the movement mechanism nailed, you can now start thinking about how you want your chair to look. While it is true that some styles are better for back support, or come with removable cushions, we always advise going with something you like and taking it from there.
Let’s look at the styles:
Hexham Rise and Recline Chair
This luxurious riser recliner chair is designed to help with back pain, with two centre cushions that support the spine.
Rutland Rise and Recline Chair
The removable back cushion helps provide support through a range of positions.
Cumberland Rise and Recline Chair
This option comes with two removable cushions – one for the headrest and one for your back and it’s a good choice of you have problems with your spine or need extra support to sit upright.
Sterling Rise and Recline Chair
This style has three removable bolster cushions that can be arranged in the way you feel most comfortable.
Snowden Rise and Recline Chair
A single, removable cushion gives excellent support in a more contemporary style of chair.
3. Which arm style do you prefer?
If the different back designs aren’t enough, we can also make your chair with different arm styles depending on what you like. Some are better for grabbing on to, and we have a couple of options if you are going to and from a wheelchair.

With the mechanism and style sorted, now’s your chance to really go to town with the upholstery.
You can choose from thousands of different fabrics, including washable, waterproof and leather, with each type of fabric available in a huge range of colours and patterns. You can see what’s available here, but nothing beats seeing the fabric for yourself and your RiseUp Consultant will bring all the swatches to you so you can make the best choice.

From Consultation to Delivery – What to Expect

Free Home Demonstration
A RiseUp Furniture Consultant will bring a sample chair or bed to your home for you to try out.
You can explain what you need and they’ll take your measurements for your made to measure furniture. You will also be able to browse through a complete catalogue of styles and fabrics, so you can choose something that’s perfect for you.
02.
Bespoke Manufacture
Your bespoke item is promptly hand-made for you by proper crafts-people at our British workshop, then rigorously checked and tested to to BSI standards.
We’ll keep you up to date right through the process so you know how things are going.
Then it’s lovingly packed and ready for step three – speedy delivery.
03.
Delivery and Installation
Your furniture will be delivered within 2-3 weeks. We’ll install it exactly where you want it and remove your old chair, sofa or bed. Your furniture consultant will be there at delivery to make sure it fits you as it’s designed to, show you how to use it, and make sure you’re 100% happy with it. Your furniture consultant will be in touch after a week or so to check that you’re happy with your new furniture and answer any questions you might have.
